Catch me if you can review

A couple days ago I was walking down the street to go to the store, when I got there. I saw a big Mercedes pulling up. A rich looking fella got out of the car, with a big suitcase. I always have respect for these smart looking businessmen, especially when they are younger. Because of how they far got in their live, in such a short amount of time. But since I saw catch me if you can, I can never look at those people the same.

Catch me if you can is a movie based on a true story. It is about Frank Abagnale, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, a young man who lied about having several jobs. And not just regular jobs, but more high end jobs. He talked his way into being a pilot, doctor, and lawyer.

The whole story started with Frank’s father having problems with the IRS because his father had committed tax fraud. It forced them to move out to a smaller house, because before it was a rich family.

Right when they moved in, it was Frank’s 16th birthday. His dad got him a check book, and that’s when it got fun for Frank.

Until, his mom and dad had a divorce. He stressed out and ran all the way to the train station.

He payed his train ticket with a check. And got to a hotel. When he got there he saw an airplane pilot. And Frank had an idea. The next day he went to an airport to fake his job as a pilot, so he could travel anywhere for free. What he did was going to different banks all over the us in different states. So he could cash his faked checks there.

In two years he made more than a million us dollars, wich was worth about 8 million then due to inflation.

Frank also became a doctor and lawyer.

Those are very responsible jobs, and he stole a lot of money doing that. So the FBI started chasing him.

This whole movie was an emotional coaster, that really sucked you into the whole story.

Although it was a very complicated concept, the director (Steven Spielberg) made it work out and it made sense.

I really recommend this movie to anyone who is in for adventures and detectives. And Maybe you also see these fancy types a different way too.
